End times are upon us. We have evil all around our globe. Evil is running rampant.
Are you prepared?
Being prepared is biblical, being prepared is prudent…being prepared could save your life and that of your family! We should be prepared in both our spiritual walk and the physical actions. There are many scriptures that tell us to be prepared and be ready in both.
Living Responsibly:
Psalms 28:19 “He who works his land will have abundant food, but the one who chases fantasies will have his fill of poverty.”
Proverbs 20:13 “Do not love sleep or you will grow poor; stay awake and you will have food to spare.”
1 Timothy 2:2 “…for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.”
Taking Care of our Families:
Matthew 25:34-36 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’”
1 Timothy 5:7-8 “Give the people these instructions, too, so that no one may be open to blame. If anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for his immediate family, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
Acts 11:29 “The disciples, each according to his ability, decided to provide help for the brothers living in Judea.”
Being Watchful & Prudent:
Proverbs 6:6 “Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise! It has no commander, no overseer or ruler, yet it stores its provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest.
Proverbs 27:12 “The prudent see danger and take refuge, but the simple keep going and suffer for it.”

God has consistently throughout the bible told his people to “PREPARE”! He told Noah to prepare, he told the people of Israel to prepare, there are many, many stories in the bible that are stories of preparation. This is my point, God has given us eyes to see and ears to hear and an amazing brain to figure things out. We are not puppets and he pulls our strings.
Yes, we must trust and have faith in our God, but what does that look like? Trust that God is showing us the dangers that lie in front of us and that he will guide us in the direction we should go. Trust in HIM that he will place in our hearts that which we must do to keep our family safe during any crisis whether that is building up our food storage, medical supplies or weapons. We must also trust in Him that he will show us all how to stay prepared and ever watchful and vigilant so that our families are safe.
So lets use those wonderful legs, arms, eyes, ears and brain that God gave us and physically prepare for emergencies. And spiritually, let’s stay in that trusting space that He will see us through it all, and having Faith that he will guide, lead and walk beside us.
