I’m Kinda in love y’all!
When I had the opportunity to review these Kind healthy grain bars (aka granola bars), well…how could I pass that up?
You see…my family likes, no LOVES granola and anything made with granola. So, I just HAD to try these!
Someone getting into the box of bars before I could even take pictures…!
I was really surprised and impressed with the quantity of bars that the Kind company sent for review. They were very generous and we had a complete sampling of all the flavors. It just so happened that my husband’s children were visiting that weekend…and they were gobbled up!
Let’s look at the flavors, what’s in them and what we thought:
Peanut Butter Dark Chocolate
What’s in them: Peanut butter, Dark chocolate, And the 5 Super food grains: Date, Millet, Quinoa, Amaranth, Buckwheat.
Our Thoughts: These were really tasty, very much peanut buttery with a good sprinkling of dark chocolate. The 5 super food grains were there, but not overpowering at all. A really good all around bar.
Oats and Honey
What’s in them: Oats, Honey and the secret ingredient…Coconut, plus the 5 super food grains.
Our Thoughts: These taste remarkably similiar to that OTHER bar..you know the one…BUT, in my opinion better due to the addition of coconut! This was my second favorite out of the whole bunch. I could have eaten a whole box of this flavor.
Vanilla Blueberry
What’s in them: Dried Blueberries, Vanilla and the 5 Super food grains!
Our Thoughts: This bar was good, but I couldn’t really place the vanilla…it didn’t POW me, and the blueberries were there but likewise, no POW. A good bar, but I just didn’t get that punch of flavor I was expecting.
Dark Chocolate Chunk
What’s in them: Dark Chocolate chunks, the 5 super food grains!
Our Thoughts: These were amazing bars. You tasted the grains and then chocolate, just chocolate…did I mention chocolate?!!! If I was in need of or in the mood for chocolate…this bar would be my go-to bar of choice! Perfect blend and combination of ingredients.
Maple Pumpkin Seeds
What’s in them: Pure maple syrup, sea salt roasted pumpkin seeds, the 5 super food grains.
Our Thoughts: Sleeper here….I saved this bar for last because it just didn’t sound good to me. Boy was I surprised! THIS bar is an amazing taste explosion in your mouth. All the flavors blend quite beautifully and I was extremely happy and satisfied with this bar. THIS bar was my hands down favorite of the whole entire box.
